WORDS From ARTISTS
SFNY provides a service in performance instruction that fills a vacuum in today's classes. With the use of seasoned professionals, it's a company that goes beyond refining skills. It prepares students for all the various aspects of the entertainment industry and gives them a clear concept of what to expect and what is expected of them, focusing on their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses tailored specifically to their goals. It's an invaluable resource that serves the demands of a challenging and ever-changing industry.
In the future I see SFNY becoming a standard for comprehensive theater and musical theater instruction.

The SFNY Summer Intensive is a great experience; it is a great opportunity for young artists because they get to work with artists who are in the city doing it. I worked with them in class and individually. It was pretty amazing! They are really focused, and it was the first time I ever had a one-on-one coaching experience. It’s so valuable.

words from masterclass clients
The kids were over the moon at how supportive and constructively critical she was. They got real feedback but left proud of themselves. It was such an amazing affirmation.

Courtney, I cannot even begin to tell you how incredible the experience of having him here in small-town Brookhaven, MS was! He went over & beyond to spend time with our cast, he gave valuable suggestions to help us fix several technical timing issues, and polished many different scenes and characters. He was professional, friendly and easy to work with. We are so thankful it worked out for him to visit our theatre and enrich the teen acting program we’ve been working diligently to build. Having a Broadway artist was certainly the “icing on the cake” AND the “cherry on top”! Thank you for helping me coordinate this opportunity so quickly…I LOVE “can-do” people!

We had an INCREDIBLE time and would recommend Kevin to absolutely everyone! He was so kind and generous of his time and really gave meaningful and practical advice to every performer. They each felt valued and special and took something away that will really be helpful to them in the future. The parents in attendance loved it too! Every participant left with a smile on their face and a day they will remember for the rest of their lives. We couldn't have asked for a better day, and we thank Kevin and you all for making that happen! We look forward to doing many more of these in the future for sure!

WE LOVED JANET!! She was so incredibly kind and insightful and I cannot thank you all enough for facilitating such a wonderful master class. In addition to the students being star-struck, Janet was able to provide a fresh take on both the characters and the show! She was so down-to-earth and the students are still talking about how much they took away from those two hours. We could not have asked for a better class and we are so fortunate and grateful to you all! Again, thank you all so much and we hope to work with you all again in the future!!
Brandy – Katy, TX SKYPE Masterclass
Overall, I had a fantastic time, learned a ton, and the program was great! Biggest struggle for me was trying not to sound like I was bragging when describing SFNY to friends.
Skylar – NYC SFNY Summer Intensive 2017
Over these last couple of years my son has been privileged to work with Broadway Artists via Skype and in-person. Skype has been a fantastic medium - thank you technology! The focus, insight, and individual attention that they provides their students has been a game-changer. Working with SFNY has been a tremendous opportunity!

I moved to New York two months after graduating a performing arts high school, and came to the city to create my own “university” of sorts. College was not a part of my path, for multiple reasons, but I honestly couldn’t even see myself in a university now. A large portion of that is due to my training with SFNY. Together, we work on building my book and creating something that is 100% representative of who I am, and I can see the progress as I grow into the highest form of myself as an artist. We also discuss necessities involving communication within the industry and networking, which has all been vital to my success thus far. This is all possible. What I have chosen to do with my career is possible. Just because it is not a typical path doesn’t mean that I am not successful. I owe so much to SFNY for making me believe that statement. And now that I have believed it? I’m here. And I’m doing it.
